Seneca Falls Star 87” x 87”
This quilt was made in 2009 by Barbara Brackman, Georgeann Eglinski, Sara Fayman, Carol Jones, Nicki Listerman, Janet Perkins, Roseanne Smith, Wendy Turnbull and Jerry Van Leer. It was machine quilted by Lori Kukuk.
The design of the quilt was inspired by a Star of Bethlehem quilt in the collection of the Internal Quilt Study Center (1997.007.0660). Most of the fabrics in the quilt are from Moda Fabrics’ Seneca Falls line designed by Barbara Brackman, celebrating women’s suffrage.
