Patti Pearce, Quilter
Meet Patti Pearce
Patti Pearce, a native of Kansas, started her fun with fabric more than 40 years ago when she took a class in 1980 at a local quilt store while living in St. Louis, MO. Fabric choices were limited and block pieces were cut with cardboard templates and scissors, not rotary cutters and mats. Things sure have changed!
Since then she’s lived in several states, where she shared her love for quilting at trunk shows and workshops. She moved to Kansas City, MO, in 2025, to be closer to family and continue her quilting life in the Midwest (where the quilting world glows!)
During her trunk show, Patti will share some of her favorite quilt projects which include piecing, both hand and machine quilting, needle-turned applique, embroidery, slow stitching, and pattern design. She especially likes vintage tablecloths, dish towels, and embroidery from the 1930’s-1950’s and uses them in many of her quilts and projects. She treasure hunts at estate sales, thrift stores, and antique stores vintage finds. She even crochets amigurumi animals! You can visit ‘Patti Pearce Quilting’ on Facebook.
