We'll put a whimsical 'twist' on the traditional Dresden Plate, cutting, piecing, applique and stitching to make an adorable wall hanging!
Once you learn Kim's techniques, you'll never look at a traditional block the same way.

Background: minimum 24.5" square (could be pieced or not) - should contrast nicely with the fabric scraps you choose for your houses.
Center circle: two 5” squares
Houses: 20 fabrics 4” x 9”
scraps/multiple fabrics (the more the better)
Roofs and doors: blacks/browns/grays (or whatever color your heart desires roofs and doors to be)
20 pieces 2.5” x 4.5”
20 pieces 1” x 3”
Windows: whites/creams (or whatever color your heart desires windows to be)
20 pieces 1.5” x 2.5”
Batting: minimum 26" square
Backing: minimum 27" square
Other Special Tools:
Heat N Bond Lite: 1/2 yard
Heat N Bond Ultrahold: 1/4 yard
Dresden Plate Ruler
Pen to draw on Heat N Bond
Scissors (cutting fused fabric)
Working Sewing Machine - recommend being able to straight stitch, blanket stitch and free motion quilt
6.5" square ruler ... or similar size
thread and full bobbin – you may want to do some fancy stitching so maybe a few colors of thread
