This quilt was made in Lawrence, Kansas, in 2009, by Barbara Brackman, Georgann Eglinski, Sarah Fayman, Carol Jones, Nicki Listerman, Janet Perkins, Roseanne Smith, Wendy Turnbull, and Jerrye VanLeer.  It is machine pieced and hand appliquéd. It was machine quilted by Lori Kukuk.  The design of the quilt was inspired by a Star of Bethlehem quilt in the collection of the International Quilt Study center (Object Number 1997.007.0660).  Most of the fabrics in the quilt are from the Seneca Falls line, celebrating the women’s suffrage movement, designed by Barbara Brackman for Moda Fabrics. The quilt is 87 inches by 87 inches.

Tickets for the quilt are available   at KVQG meetings and from KVQG members.  The requested donation is $1.00 or 6 for $5.00.
